My mom never really censored my music - just told me to "turn that shit down." She hated everything I listened to.
I remember this one time, when I was singing "Shot Through the Heart" and I thought it was SHOUT thru the heart. My parents were doing dishes in the kitchen and my dad turned to my mom and started screaming at her chest. I said, "What are you doing?" And he goes, "See, SHOUTING through the heart is ridiculous. It's SHOT."
Duh...

i must admit, they're a guilty pleasure.
Ubie, this is not embarrassing. I love this band. I have loved their music for the 20 years they have been singing. I have seem them in concert several times. I own all of their albums. They ROCK. Do not mock the Bon Jovi. god Bon Jovi RULES.
RS: "Shot Through the Heart" is my all-time fave song of theirs. I love the video. So campy. So cool :)

oooh.. another really rude thing that happened this morning... I was walking out of my apartment with the following: basket overflowing with laundry, My scunci cleaner in bag, larger bag on my shouler and my lunch.... Two people rode down the elevator with me, then got out first. I was 3 steps behind them, and they didn't even hold the door for me. It dropped right on my face. BOTH DOORS... I wanted to just yell at her and tell her she was rude... I can't wait for my hosue...
